Advocating for victims of child abuse.
Our Child Advocates provide consistent, compassionate support to children and their non-offending family members from the moment they enter our doors and continue throughout the entire case until resolution and/or a child's graduation from therapy. Advocates serve as a trusted guide, helping families navigate complex systems and ensuring children feel safe and supported at every step.
Caregiver Resources & Education
In addition to emotional support, child advocates connect families with essential community resources. They assist with applying for Crime Victims' Compensation benefits and provide practical guidance on legal processes, including court preparation and accompaniment during hearings. Advocates also provide education to caregivers about what to expect during investigations and work closely with the Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) to ensure that each child's voice is heard, their rights are upheld, and their needs are met. By offering both practical assistance and empathetic guidance, our advocacy services empower children and families to navigate the justice system, access healing resources, and move toward safety and recovery.
