August 17, 2016 BRACAC awarded $10,000.00 from WHAS Crusade for Children


Barren River Area Child Adv CtrThe BRACAC attended the WHAS Crusade for Children “Big Check” Luncheon yesterday afternoon to receive a check for $10,000.00 for the new grant year beginning September 2016.  The funds will be used to support provision forensic interviews at the Center.  “The completion of a forensic interview is considered the first and fundamental step when there is a disclosure or concern of sexual abuse and exploitation.  Every child needs this service, and the funds provided by WHAS will help the Center make them available to every child in the BRADD region.”  Photo:  BRACAC Executive Director Dawn E. 18th Annual Great Teddy Bear Run
